Safari Park

We braved the subway today and went out on our own to the safari park. Thanks to great directions from another blog we were able to easily navigate the three lines of the subway to get there. The subway is clean and safe. People were willing to give up their seat to me holding the baby. Once we got off at the stop for the park there were buses that took us right to the entrance.

The safari park far exceeded our expectations. Connor called it the best day ever! There are two parts to the park - safari on wheels and safari on foot. The safari on wheels is a drive thru safari in a train. We went at feeding time so the animals were very active and fun to observe. The highlights of the safari on foot were the panda center and the koalas.

The return by subway was just as easy although busier due to rush hour. There was an amusement park next to the safari park and the boys are trying to convince us to go back. After watching their safety standards I am a little nervous letting them ride roller coasters in China.
