Chaos!

There is only one way to describe the medical exam yesterday - chaos! Every child being adopted to the US goes to the same place on Saturday morning for a visa photo and an exam. There are three stations each child must go to, nurses station, general physician, and ENT. This can only occur after you have taken a visa photo and have the required paperwork. The paperwork was a challenge for our group as somehow some of the photos were lost. We got to the medical exam at 10 am and did not get out of there until lunch time. Everyone is sleeping but I will share a photo later so you can all see the mass or humanity and disorganization!

After we finally made it thru the medical exams the big kids in our group had TB tests and we finally headed back to the hotel. Once back Emily had her first experience with McDonalds. Chicken nuggets have never tasted do good. After a week and a half of Chinese food it was nice to have something familiar.

The rest of the day was spent at the hotel pool and playground since the sun was finally out! Today we head to Shamian Island for some shopping and lunch at Lucy's.
